Fender - Removal and Installation

Removal

1. 1
   Remove the fender splash shield.
   Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the fender insulator.

   Remove the fender deflector.

   Remove the rocker panel molding.
   Refer to: Sill Panel Molding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

   Remove the bolt.
   Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

   Remove the bolts.
   Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

   

7. 7
   Release the retainers and remove the door opening molding.

   Remove the bolt.
   Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

   

9. 9
   Remove the bolts attaching the fender cover to the bumper and lower the bumper cover.
   Torque: 53 lb-in (6 N·m)

   

10. 10
    Remove the front fender bracket bolt.
    Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

    

11. 11
    Remove the pin-type retainers and the hood seal.

    

12. 12
    Remove the bolts.
    Torque: 80 lb-in (9 N·m)

    

13. 13
    Remove the fender.

    

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
