Note: Do not touch the accelerator pedal.

Note: If you release the clutch pedal while starting the engine, the engine will stop turning and return to the ignition on condition.
  1. Fully press the clutch pedal.
  2. Start the engine.
If the engine does not start within 10 seconds, wait a moment, then try again.

If the engine does not start after three attempts, wait 10 seconds and follow the flooded engine procedure.

If you have difficulty starting the engine when the temperature is below -25ºC (-13ºF), press the accelerator pedal halfway down and try again.
