Manual tailgate

~1min read
DANGER

It is extremely dangerous to ride in any part of the vehicle's cargo area, inside or outside. In a crash, people riding in these areas are more likely to be seriously injured or killed. Do not allow people to ride in any area of the vehicle that is not equipped with seats and safety belts. Make sure all vehicle occupants are seated and properly wearing their safety belts.

Always keep the tailgate closed and locked to prevent exhaust fumes from being drawn into the vehicle. This also prevents passengers and cargo from falling out of the vehicle. When driving with the tailgate open, keep the vents or windows open to allow outside air to enter the vehicle. Failure to observe this warning may result in serious personal injury.

Note: Take care when opening or closing the tailgate inside a garage or other enclosed areas to avoid damaging the tailgate.

Note: Do not hang any type of accessory (bicycle carrier, etc.) from the spoiler, rear window or tailgate. This could damage the tailgate and its components.

Note: Do not leave the tailgate open while driving. This could damage the tailgate and its components.
