WARNING

This battery pack must only be repaired by an authorised technician specialising in electric vehicles.

Improper handling may result in serious injury or death.

Note: The high-voltage battery does not require regular maintenance.

Your vehicle includes various high-voltage components and wiring.

All high-voltage power is carried through dedicated wiring harnesses identified as such, or covered with solid orange insulation, orange tape banding, or both. Never come into contact with these components.

The high-voltage battery system consists of a high-voltage lithium-ion battery. The pack is located in the rear luggage compartment. The high-voltage battery system uses an air-cooled system to regulate the temperature of the high-voltage battery and thereby optimise its service life.

Batterie haute tension

Note: Ventilation outlets at the rear support regulate the temperature of the high-voltage battery.

These outlets must not be obstructed. Do not block the airflow from the passenger compartment to this area.

HIGH-VOLTAGE SERVICE DISCONNECT PLUG

The high-voltage service disconnect plug is used to cut off the electrical power supply from the high-voltage battery.

The vehicle is equipped with a disconnect circuit. When the circuit is disconnected, the high-voltage battery is automatically deactivated.

To deactivate the battery and interrupt all high-voltage electrical activity in the vehicle, you must access the high-voltage disconnect circuit. To do this, you must unplug the circuit from the circuit port connected to the battery.

The service disconnect plug is equipped with an external lever that allows the service disconnect lever to be positioned correctly. Remove it to disconnect the high-voltage service disconnect plug.

The high-voltage service disconnect plug is located behind the rear seats and is accessible once they are folded down.

Deactivating the high-voltage battery

  1. Fold down the rear seats.
  2. Locate the access hatch and remove the plastic cover.

  1. Reverse the procedure to refit the high-voltage service disconnect plug and the external lever of the service disconnect plug.

Reactivating the high-voltage battery

Note: if you manually disconnected the high-voltage disconnect circuit, you must reconnect the circuit before it can be reactivated. The vehicle checks that the electrical system is safe and reactivates it automatically.
