Note: If you use an automatic car wash with a wax treatment, make sure to remove the wax from the windshield and the wiper blades. Note: Before using an automatic car wash, check whether it can be used on your vehicle. Note: Some car washes use high-pressure water. As a result, water droplets may enter your vehicle and could also damage some of its parts. Note: Remove the antenna before taking the vehicle through a car wash. Note: Switch off the blower to prevent contamination of the cabin air filter.

We recommend washing your vehicle with a sponge and lukewarm water containing car shampoo.

Headlamp Cleaning

Note: Do not scratch the headlamp lens.

Do not use abrasives, alcohol-based solvents or chemical solvents to clean them. Note: Do not wipe the headlamps when dry.

Rear Window Cleaning

Note: Do not rub the inside of the rear window. Do not use abrasives or chemical solvents to clean it.

Use a clean, lint-free cloth or a damp chamois to clean the inside of the rear window.

Cleaning chrome trim

Note: Do not use abrasive products or chemical solvents. Use soapy water. Note: Do not use cleaning products on hot surfaces, and do not leave cleaning products on chrome surfaces for longer than recommended. Note: Industrial cleaning products or chemicals may cause damage over time.

WARNINGS

  • Do not apply polish to your vehicle in direct, intense sunlight.
  • Avoid contact of polish with plastic surfaces. It may be difficult to remove.
  • Do not apply polish to the windshield or rear window. This may make the wipers noisy and ineffective.

We recommend waxing the paint once or twice a year.
