You can configure the MyKey settings the first time you create a MyKey. You can also change the settings later with an Admin key.

The following settings can be configured using an Admin key:

  • You can set various vehicle speed limits. When the vehicle reaches the set speed, visual warnings are displayed, followed by an audible chime. You cannot exceed the set speed by fully pressing the accelerator pedal or by setting the cruise control.
  • You can set various vehicle speed alerts. When the set vehicle speed is exceeded, visual warnings are displayed, followed by an audible chime.
  • Audio system maximum volume of 45%. A message is displayed on the screen if you try to exceed the limited volume. Automatic volume control is turned off.
  • "Always On" setting. If this setting is turned on, you cannot turn off AdvanceTrac, traction control, emergency assist or the Do Not Disturb function.

Vehicles with Keyless Entry System

When a MyKey and an Admin key are present, your vehicle only recognizes the Admin key.
