Note: The speed limit can be intentionally exceeded for a short period, for example to overtake a vehicle.

The system is controlled by setting controls on the steering wheel.

Utilisation du système

Switching the system on and off

Press the LIM CNCL/OFF button to put the speed limiter into standby mode. The information display then prompts you to set a speed. Press the LIM CNCL/OFF button with the speed limiter in standby mode to switch the system off.

Setting the speed limit

  • Press SET- with the speed limiter in standby mode to set the limiter to the current vehicle speed.
  • Press RES+ or SET- to select the desired speed limit. The speed is shown on the information display and stored as the set speed.
  • Press LIM CNCL/OFF to deactivate the speed limiter and place it in standby mode. The set speed is shown crossed out on the information display.
  • Press RES+ to reactivate the speed limiter. The information display shows the set speed.

Intentionally exceeding the set speed limit

Fully depress the accelerator pedal to temporarily stop the system.

The system reactivates when the speed of your vehicle drops below the set speed.

System warnings

If you unintentionally exceed the set speed, the set speed indicator flashes on the information display and a warning tone sounds.

If you intentionally exceed the set speed limit, only the set speed indicator flashes on the information display.
