Aluminum Alloy Wheels

~1min read

Use the same products to wash aluminum wheels as you use for the body. Wash the wheels with the same product as the body, and rinse them thoroughly with clean water after washing.

Aluminum alloy wheels are coated with a clear protective layer that prevents the wheel material from oxidizing and helps maintain its shine.

Using stiff brushes, aggressive solvents, and even some commercial wheel cleaning products can damage this protective and decorative layer. Only neutral detergents, soft-bristle brushes, or a sponge may be used to wash and clean aluminum wheels.
