Replacement

  1. Remove the rear door glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Glass")
  2. Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")
  3. Loosen the rear door latch mounting screws.

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

  4. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear door module (A).

    Tightening torque: 8.8 ~ 13.7 N·m

  5. Remove the rear door lock assembly. (Refer to Front Door - "Rear Door Latch")
  6. Remove the rear speaker. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Speakers")
  7. Remove the rear power window motor. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Check that the connectors are connected correctly and that each rod is securely connected.
    • Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
