Tire Wear

   Measure the tire tread depth.

   Tread depth [limit]: 1.6 mm (0.063 in)

   If the remaining tread depth (A) is less than the limit, replace the tire.

   When the tire tread depth is less than 1.6 mm (0.063 in), the wear indicators (B) will appear.

   

Removal

   Remove the valve core and deflate the tire.

   Break the tire bead away from the wheel using a tire changer.

   

   The tire bead should be broken approximately 90° from the valve side of the wheel. The bead breaker should not be set too deep. Avoid contact between the tire/tool and the valve when dismounting. Dismounting should end near the valve.

   Rotate the wheel clockwise.

   

   

Installation

   Apply soap or tire lubricant to the upper and lower tire beads.

   To install the bead, set the valve at the 5 o'clock position relative to the head on the tire changer.

   Place the tire on the rim so that the lower bead contacts the rim edge past the valve (6 o'clock). Turn the rim clockwise and press down on the tire at the 3 o'clock position to seat the lower bead.

   After the lower bead is seated on the rim, rotate the wheel until the valve is at the 5 o'clock position relative to the head of the tire changer. Press the tire at the 3 o'clock position and turn the wheel clockwise to seat the upper bead.

   Inflate the tire until both beads are seated.

   Recommended tire pressure: 230 kPa (33 psi)

   

Adjustment

1. 1
   Swap the front right and front left wheels and perform a road test to check vehicle stability.

   

2. 2
   If the steering pulls in the opposite direction, swap the front and rear wheels and repeat the road test.

   

3. 3
   If the steering still pulls to one side, swap the front right and left tires again and perform a road test.

   

4. 4
   If the steering continues to pull in the opposite direction, replace the front wheels with new ones.
