Warning Messages

Parking brake is applied automatically

When the EPB is applied from Auto Hold, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear.

AUTO HOLD disabled! Press the brake pedal

When transitioning from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear.

If this message is displayed, Auto Hold and EPB may not operate. For your safety, press the brake pedal.

Press the brake pedal to disable AUTO HOLD

If you do not press the brake pedal when releasing Auto Hold by pressing the [AUTO HOLD] switch, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear.

AUTO HOLD conditions not met. Close door, hood and trunk

If the [AUTO HOLD] switch is pressed when the driver's door or hood is not closed, a warning sound will sound and a message will appear on the instrument cluster LCD.

Press the [AUTO HOLD] switch after closing the driver's door and hood.
