Armrest

The armrest is located in the center of the rear seat. Pull the armrest down from the seatback to use it.

To use the cup holder, open the cover (1).

Carrying Long/Narrow Items

An additional cargo space is provided to accommodate long/narrow items (skis, poles, etc.) that cannot be properly placed in the trunk with the cover closed.

1. Pull the armrest (1) down.

2. Pull the cover down while pressing the release lever down.

CAUTION

• Make sure the engine is off, the shift lever is in P, and the parking brake is applied when loading or unloading cargo. The vehicle may move if the shift lever is accidentally moved to another position.
• Be careful when loading cargo through the rear passenger seat to prevent damage to the vehicle interior.
• When loading cargo through the rear passenger seats, make sure the cargo is properly secured to prevent it from moving while driving.
• Unsecured cargo in the passenger compartment may damage the vehicle or injure its occupants.

Cargo

Cargo must always be secured to prevent it from scattering throughout the vehicle in a collision and injuring vehicle occupants. Do not place items on the rear seats, as they cannot be properly secured and may strike the front seat occupants in a collision.

Loading Cargo

Make sure the engine is off, the automatic transmission is in P (Park), and the parking brake is securely applied whenever loading or unloading cargo. Failure to follow these steps may allow the vehicle to move if the shift lever is accidentally moved to another position.
