Description

The ratchet tightening mechanism on the threaded fuel tank cap reduces the possibility of improper installation that would lead to a fuel tank leak. After the seal on the fuel tank cap and filler neck flanges contact each other, the ratchet produces a loud clicking sound, indicating that the seal has been installed.
