Replacement

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the canister assembly. (Refer to Evaporative Emission Control System - Canister)
  3. Loosen the installation bolt (A).
  4. After disconnecting the vapor hose (B), remove the fuel tank air filter.
  5. Remove the canister close valve from the fuel tank air filter. (Refer to Engine Control System - Canister Close Valve)
  6. Install a new fuel tank air filter.
