Description

The 2-stage variable vane pump improves fuel economy by controlling oil pressure in two stages and optimizing hydraulic pressure at low/medium engine speeds. The oil pressure/temperature sensor sends pressure information to the ECM by measuring the oil pressure and temperature from the oil pump, and the ECM maintains the pressure released from the RPM constantly by controlling the proportional control valve.

Operation

Monitor the solenoid operating frequency by setting the timing change mode differently when the engine speed increases or decreases.
