Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the lower oil pan. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Oil Pan").
  2. Remove the upper oil pan.
  3. Remove the bolt (A) and then separate the chain with the sprocket from the oil pump.

    Tightening torque: 19.6 - 24 N·m

  4. Remove the oil from the proportional control solenoid valve connector (A).
  5. Remove the oil pump bracket bolt (A).
  6. Loosen the oil pump mounting bolt, then remove the oil pump (A) and the upper oil pan together.

    Tightening torque: 20.6 ~ 23 N·m

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
