Power Adjustment
The front seat can be adjusted using the control switches located on the outside of the seat cushion. Before driving, adjust the seat to the correct position so that you can easily reach the steering wheel, pedals, and instrument panel controls.
WARNING
NEVER allow children to remain in the vehicle unattended. Seat power works when the engine is off.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the seats:
- Always stop seat adjustment when the seat has been moved as far forward or rearward as possible.
- Do not operate the seats longer than necessary when the engine is off. This may drain the battery.
- Do not operate two or more seat controls at the same time. This may cause an electrical malfunction.
Forward and Backward Adjustment

To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seat reaches the desired position.

1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seatback reaches the desired position.
Reclining Seatback
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when buckled up, the protection of your restraint system (seat belts and airbags) is significantly reduced by reclining the seatback.
WARNING
NEVER drive with the seatback reclined while the vehicle is moving.
Driving with the seatback reclined increases your chance of serious or fatal injury in the event of a collision or sudden stop.
The driver and passengers must ALWAYS sit comfortably in their seats, properly belted, with the seatbacks in the upright position.
The seat belts must fit snugly against the hips and chest to function properly. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its function because it will not fit snugly against your chest. Instead, it will be positioned in front of you. In a collision, you may slide under the seat belt, resulting in neck or other injuries.
The more the seatback is reclined, the greater the chance that the passenger's hips will slide under the lap belt or the passenger's neck will strike the shoulder belt.
Seat Cushion Height

To change the seat cushion height:
1. Pull up on the front of the control switch to raise, or press down to lower, the front of the seat cushion. Pull up on the rear of the control switch to raise, or press down to lower, the seat cushion.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seat reaches the desired position.
Lumbar Support

- The lumbar support can be adjusted by pressing the lumbar support switch.
- Press the front of the switch (1) to increase support, or the rear of the switch (2) to decrease support.
- To move the lumbar support position up or down, press switch (3) or (4).
Depending on equipment, the lumbar support does not operate or lowers when the lumbar support is at its rearmost position.
In this case, to use the system, slightly increase the support by pressing the front of the switch (1).
Seat Cushion Angle Adjustment (Driver's Seat, if equipped)

2. Release the lever when the seat cushion reaches the desired position.
