Outside rear view mirrors
Adjust the mirror angles before driving.
The vehicle is equipped with outside rearview mirrors on the driver's side and/or the passenger's side. They can be adjusted using the mirror switch or (a lever). The mirrors can be folded to prevent damage during automatic car washes or when driving through narrow roads.
WARNING - Outside Rearview Mirrors - The outside rearview mirror is convex. In some countries, the left mirror is also convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they appear. - Use the interior rearview mirror or look directly over your shoulder to determine the actual distance of following vehicles when changing lanes. NOTICE Do not scrape ice off the mirror surface, as it may be damaged. If ice prevents the mirror from moving, do not force it to adjust. To remove ice, use a de-icer spray, a sponge, or a soft cloth with very warm water. NOTICE If ice is trapped in the mirror, do not force the mirror to adjust. Use an approved de-icer spray (not engine coolant antifreeze) to free the frozen mechanisms, or move the vehicle to a warm place to allow the ice to melt. WARNING Do not adjust the rearview mirror while the vehicle is moving. You could lose control and cause an accident resulting in death, serious injury, or property damage.
Remote control
Manual type (if equipped)
To adjust an outside mirror, move the control lever.

Electric type (if equipped)
The electric mirror control switch allows you to adjust the position of the left and right outside rearview mirrors. To adjust the position of a mirror, the ignition switch must be in the ACC position.
Move the lever (1) toward R or L to select the right or left mirror, respectively, then press the matching point on the adjustment control to move the mirror up, down, right, or left.
After adjusting, set the switch to the neutral (center) position to prevent unintended adjustment.
NOTICE - The mirrors stop when they reach their maximum angle, but the motor continues to run until the switch is released. Do not press the switch longer than necessary to avoid damaging the motor. - Do not try to adjust the outside rearview mirrors by hand. Components may be damaged.
Folding the outside rearview mirrors
