WARNING
In very humid weather, do not use the
or
position while the cooling is activated. The difference between the outside air temperature and the windshield temperature may fog the outer surface of the windshield and cause loss of visibility. Set the mode selection to the
position and the fan speed to a lower speed.
- For maximum defrosting, set the temperature control to the hottest/far right position and the fan to the maximum speed.
- If you want the hot air directed to the floor level during defrosting or defogging, select the floor/defrost position.
- Before driving, remove all snow and ice from the windshield, rear window, outside mirrors, and side windows.
- Clear all snow and ice from the hood and the air intake at the base of the windshield.
- If the engine temperature is still low after starting, a short warm-up period may be necessary for the ventilation airflow to become warm or hot.
