Cruise control allows you to drive at approximately 40 km/h without pressing the accelerator pedal.

WARNING

Observe the following precautions:

• If the cruise control remains on (cruise control indicator illuminated on the instrument cluster), it may be activated accidentally. Keep the cruise control switch in the OFF position ( cruise indicator off) when not in use to avoid accidentally setting a speed. • Use cruise control only when driving on open highways in good weather.
• Do not use cruise control when it may be dangerous to maintain a constant vehicle speed:
  - driving in heavy or changing traffic conditions.
  - driving on slippery roads (rain, ice or snow).
  - driving on winding or hilly roads.
  - driving in very windy areas.
