Interior Temperature Sensor Description and Operation

~1min read

Description

The sensor contains a thermistor that measures the interior temperature. A signal determined by a resistance value that changes in relation to the perceived cabin temperature is sent to the heater control unit, and based on this signal the control unit adjusts the cabin temperature to the desired value. When the resistance changes, the temperature is determined from the aspirated cabin air, and the corresponding voltage is transmitted to the thermostat module.
