Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the oil pressure switch (B).

    Tightening torque: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

  2. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

Inspection

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between the terminal and the body. If there is no continuity, replace the oil pressure sensor.
  2. Check the continuity between the terminal and the body while pressing a thin wire. If there is continuity even with the thin wire pressed, replace the oil pressure switch.
  3. If there is no continuity, apply 49.0 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm², 7.1 psi) through the oil hole. The switch is working correctly. Check for air leaks. If there are any, the diaphragm is broken. Replace it.
