Before driving, adjust the mirror so that you can see the rear window.

WARNING

Make sure your line of sight is clear. Do not place items on the rear seat, in the luggage compartment, or behind the rear headrests that could block your view through the rear window.

WARNING

To avoid serious injury in a crash or airbag deployment, do not modify the mirror or install a large mirror angle.

WARNING

NEVER talk to the mirror while driving. This may cause loss of control of the vehicle and result in an accident.

NOTICE

To clean the mirror, use a paper towel or similar product dampened with windshield washer fluid. Do not spray windshield washer fluid directly onto the rearview mirror, otherwise fluid may enter the mirror housing.
