WARNING
- For your safety, do not touch high-voltage cables, connectors, or battery modules. High-voltage components are orange in color.
- Exposed cables or wires may be visible inside or outside the vehicle. Never touch wires or cables, as this may result in electric shock, injury, or death.
- Any leak of gas or electrolyte from your vehicle is not only poisonous but also flammable. If you notice either, open the windows and stay at a safe distance from the vehicle. Immediately contact an authorized Hyundai dealer and inform them that a hybrid vehicle is involved.
- If you need towing, see the "Towing" section in the previous pages.
- If the vehicle is severely damaged, keep a safe distance of 50 ft. (15 m) or more between your vehicle and other vehicles/flammable materials.
WARNING
If a fire occurs:
If you notice any sparks, gas, flames, or fuel leakage from your vehicle, immediately call 911 or contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. Also tell them that a hybrid vehicle is involved.
WARNING
When the vehicle is submerged in water:
When your vehicle is submerged in water, the high-voltage battery may cause electric shock or may catch fire. Therefore, turn off the hybrid system, take the key with you, and move to a safe location. Never attempt to physically contact a submerged vehicle. Immediately contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer and tell them that a hybrid vehicle is involved.
