Electrochromic Mirror (ECM)

~1min read

The electrochromic rear view mirror automatically adjusts glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you at night or in poor lighting conditions.

When the engine is running, glare is automatically controlled by a sensor installed in the rear view mirror. The sensor detects the level of light around the vehicle and automatically adjusts the mirror to control glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you.

Whenever the shift lever is in the R (Reverse) position, the mirror automatically becomes maximally bright to improve the driver's rear view.
