ALWAYS use the floor mat anchors to secure the front floor mats to the vehicle. The anchors on the front floor mats prevent the mats from sliding forward.

WARNING

When installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle, observe the following.

  • Make sure the floor mats are securely fastened to the floor anchor(s) before driving the vehicle.
  • Do not use ANY floor mats that cannot be securely fastened to the vehicle's floor mat anchors.
  • Do not place floor mats on top of each other (for example, an all-weather rubber mat on top of a carpeted mat). Only one floor mat should be installed in each position.

IMPORTANT - Your vehicle was manufactured with driver-side floor mat retainers designed to securely hold the floor mat in place. To avoid any interference with the pedal controls, HYUNDAI recommends using a HYUNDAI floor mat designed for use in your vehicle.
