Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Raise the vehicle.
  3. Remove the canister assembly. (Refer to Evaporative Emission Control System - "Canister")
  4. Loosen the bolt and clips, then remove the canister protector (A).
  5. Loosen the bolt and clips, then remove the canister cover (A).
  6. Remove the clip, then separate the fuel tank air filter (B) from the canister by turning it in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
