Rear Door Lock Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")

   Loosen the rear door latch mounting screws.

   Tightening torque: 6.9–10.8 N·m

   Loosen the rear mounting screw of the outside handle base (A) and the connector (B).

   Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 7.8 N·m

   Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the rear door gutter (A).

   Tightening torque: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

   Remove the rear door latch (A).

   Loosen the outside handle rod of the rear door (A), then remove the rear door outside handle base (B).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
