Tilt Steering / Telescopic Steering
WARNING
Never adjust the steering wheel while driving. You may lose control of the vehicle, resulting in serious injury, death, or an accident.
Information
After adjustment, the release lever may sometimes not lock the steering column.
This is not a malfunction. It occurs when two gears are engaged incorrectly. In this case, adjust the steering wheel again, then lock the steering wheel.

Pull down the release lever (1) on the steering column and adjust the steering wheel angle (2) and position (3). Position the steering wheel so that it points toward your chest, not your face.
Make sure you can see the warning lights and gauges on the instrument cluster.
After adjustment, pull up the release lever (1) to lock the steering wheel in place. Push the steering wheel up and down to make sure it is locked in position. Always adjust the steering wheel position before starting to drive.
