Replacement

Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Be careful not to scratch the door trim and other parts.

   Remove the front door window glass. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Window Glass")

   Remove the front door outside handle. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Outside Handle")

   Press the stopper pin and disconnect the front door main connector (A).

   Loosen the front door outside handle screw (A).

   Press the lock tab and disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A).

   Loosen the front door latch screws.

   Tightening torque: 7.8–10.8 N·m

   Loosen the front door mounting bolts and remove the front door module (A).

   Tightening torque: 7.8–11.8 N·m

   Disconnect the various connectors from the front door module and separate the front door module wiring harness (A).

   Remove the front door lock assembly. (Refer to Front Door - Front Door Latch Assembly)

    Remove the front power window motor. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Make sure the connectors are connected correctly and each rod is securely connected. Make sure the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
