Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Open the cover and loosen the front seat mounting bolts.

    Tightening Torque: 44.1–59 N·m

  2. Press the stopper pin and disconnect the side airbag main connector (A), connector (B), and front seat belt lock connector (C).

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Seat Mounting Bolt Installation Sequence
    • Move the seat to the rear end of the rails and tighten the front mounting bolts first.
    • Move the seat to the front end of the rails and fully tighten the rear mounting bolts.
    • Move the seat to the rear end again to fully tighten the front mounting bolts.
    • Check the seat for smooth operation.
    • For non-automatic sliding seats, make sure the seat locks in each designated mounting position.
