1. Front Seat Assembly

Repair Procedures

Replacement

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components.
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  1. Remove the front seat rear cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Rear Cover).
  2. Remove the front seat cushion cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Cushion Cover)
  3. Loosen the mounting bolts and separate the front seat back frame (A) and the front seat cushion frame (B).

    Tightening Torque: 44.1–54 N·m

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    • For seats with a side airbag, remove the side airbag from the seat frame assembly. (Refer to Passive Safety System - "Side Airbag Module (SAB)").
    • Before performing service, fully review the precautions and service procedures related to the airbag. (Refer to Passive Safety System - "Side Airbag Module (SAB)").
