Replacement

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or puller, wrap the tool with protective tape to prevent damage to the components. Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

   Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

   Loosen the mounting screws and remove the front seat cover front cover (A).

   Remove the front seat outer cover.

   1. Using a screwdriver or pry tool, remove the rear hook ①.
   2. Remove the lower hook ② by pulling it to the side.
   3. Remove the upper steel bracket ② and hook ③ by pulling them to the side.
   4. Remove the front seat outer protective cover (A) by pulling it forward, as shown by the arrow.

      Front Seat Outer Shield: Note the sequence and direction of removal when removing the cover. Be careful not to damage the hooks and brackets.

   Press the stopper pin and disconnect the front seat power switch connector (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected. Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
