To prevent fogging of the inside of the windshield

1. Select any fan speed except the "0" position.

2. Select the desired temperature.

3. Select theorposition.

4. Fresh air mode will be selected automatically. In addition, the A/C will operate automatically if the mode is selected atposition.

Make sure the A/C is on. If the A/C ON indicator light is off, press the A/C button once to turn the A/C on.

Make sure the air intake control is in Fresh mode. If the air intake control indicator light is on, press the button once to select Fresh mode (indicator light off).

To defrost the windshield from the outside

1. Set the fan speed to the maximum setting (knob turned fully clockwise).

2. Set the temperature control to the maximum temperature setting.

3. Select the position.

4. Fresh mode (recirculation OFF) and A/C ON will be selected automatically.
