Repair Procedures

Replacement

   Remove the rear door glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Glass")

   Remove the rear door outside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Outside Handle")

   Press the stopper pin and disconnect the rear door main connector (A).

   Loosen the rear door side handle base mounting screw (A).

   Loosen the rear door latch mounting screw.

   Tightening torque: 7.8–10.8 N·m

   Remove the rear door channel (A).

   Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rear door module (A).

   Tightening torque: 8.8–13.7 N·m

   Remove the rear door main wiring harness (A).

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Make sure the connectors are connected correctly and each rod is securely connected. Make sure the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
