Tilt / Telescopic Steering Wheel
When adjusting the steering wheel to a comfortable position, adjust the steering wheel so that it points toward your chest, not your face. Make sure you can see the instrument cluster warning lights and gauges. After adjusting, press the steering wheel lock lever up and down to make sure it is locked in position. Always adjust the steering wheel position before driving.
WARNING
NEVER adjust the steering wheel while driving. This may result in loss of control of the vehicle and an accident.
NOTICE
When adjusting the steering wheel height, do not push or pull it forcibly, as the mechanism may be damaged.

To adjust the steering wheel angle and height:
1. Pull down the lock release lever (1).
2. Adjust the steering wheel to the desired angle (2) and forward/rearward distance (3).
3. Pull up the lock lever to lock the steering wheel in place.
Information
Sometimes the steering lock release lever may not fully disengage. This can happen when the gears of the locking mechanism do not fully engage. If this happens, pull the steering column lever down, readjust the steering wheel, then pull the lever back up to release it and lock the steering wheel.
Horn

To sound the horn, press the area marked with the horn symbol on your steering wheel (see illustration). The horn will operate only when this area is pressed.
NOTICE
Do not strike the horn hard to use it or hit it with your fist. Do not press the horn with a pointed object.
