Tire Wear
|
- Measure the tire tread depth.
Tread depth [limit]: 1.6 mm (0.0630 in.)
- If the remaining tread depth (A) is less than the limit, replace the tire.

- When the tread depth of the tire is less than 1.6 mm (0.0630 in), the tread wear indicators (B) will appear.

Pull and Wander Test
If the steering pulls to one side, rotate the tires according to the following wheel rotation order.- Swap the front right and front left tires, then perform a road test to confirm vehicle stability.

- If the steering pulls in the opposite direction, rotate the front and rear tires, then perform the road test again.

- If the steering continues to pull to the same side, rotate the front right tire and perform the road test again.

- If the steering continues to pull in the opposite direction, replace the front tires with new ones.

Removal
- Remove the valve core and deflate the tire.
- Remove the tire bead from the wheel using a tire changer machine.

- The tire bead must break approximately 90° from the valve side of the wheel. The bead breaker must not be set too deep.
- Avoid contact between the tire/tool and the valve when dismounting.
- Dismounting should end near the valve.
- Rotate the wheel clockwise.

Installation
- Apply soap or tire lubricant to the upper and lower tire beads.

- To install the lower bead, position the valve at the 5 o'clock position relative to the head on the tire changer.

- Place the tire on the rim so that the lower bead contacts the rim edge behind the valve (6 o'clock). Rotate the rim clockwise and press down on the tire at the 3 o'clock position to install the lower bead.

- After the lower bead is on the rim, rotate the wheel until the valve stem is at the 5 o'clock position relative to the head on the tire changer. Press the tire at the 3 o'clock position and rotate the wheel clockwise to seat the upper bead.

- Inflate the tire until both beads are seated.
Recommended tire pressure: 240 kPa (35 psi)
