- Check by DTC
Symptom Probable Cause Remedy 1. Appearance of a Single DTC Loose connector related to a specific DTC 1) Check the connection status and reconnect the connector. Tolerance compensation not completed 1) Appearance of DTC (B103000)
2) Perform tolerance compensation.Disconnected wiring 1) Check the continuity of the wiring and the area related to the DTC.
- DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00/B280000/C161600/B162C00)Faulty wiring connector 1) Check whether the wiring connector pins are bent or damaged.
2) DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00)Faulty H/UNIT connector 1) Check whether the SVM unit connector pins are bent or damaged.
2) DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00)Faulty H/UNIT or camera 1) Check the basic operation and DTCs with the diagnostic tool.
2) DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00)2. Appearance of Multiple DTCs Loose SVM main connector 1) Check the connection status and reconnect the connector. Disconnected wiring 1) Camera power
- If 6 V or below, check the related wiring.
2) ACC/IGN power
- If 7.5 V or below, check the related wiring.
3) SVM switch
- If 1.75 V or above with the switch ON, check the related wiring.Faulty wiring connector 1) Check whether the wiring connector pins are bent or there is interference from adjacent parts.
2) DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00)Faulty H/UNIT connector 1) Check whether the H/UNIT connector is bent or there is interference from adjacent parts.
2) DTC generated (B16B700/B16B800/B16B900/B16BA00)Faulty H/UNIT 1) If the malfunction recurs after the above items are confirmed normal, replace the SVM. - Inspection of SVM Performance for Defects (Image Output)
Symptom Probable Cause Remedy 1. No Image Output:
Black screen, blue screen, green screenLoose H/UNIT or SVM main connector 1) Check the connection status and reconnect the connector. Disconnected H/UNIT or SVM wiring 1) Check the continuity of the ACC / IGN / V-OUT / M-CAN connectors and wiring. Faulty IPM (SJB) 1) Check the ACC/IGN terminal voltage: If 7.5 V or below, inspect the IPM (SJB). Faulty H/UNIT or SVM 1) If the malfunction recurs after the above items are confirmed normal, replace the H/UNIT or SVM. 2. Abnormal Image Output: Screen noise / lines / cracked display / display cannot be changed Loose main connector 1) Check the connection status and reconnect the connector. Disconnected or shorted wiring 1) Inspect the wiring related to the DTC occurrence. Faulty tolerance compensation 1) If the SVM image display is cracked while the camera display is normal, perform tolerance compensation again. Faulty camera 1) If both the camera display and the SVM image display are cracked, inspect the camera. Faulty IPM (SJB) 1) If DTC (C161600) occurs, check the IPM (SJB). Faulty console switch 1) Inspect the SVM switch.
- If 1.75 V or above with the switch ON, replace the switch.Faulty H/UNIT or SVM 1) If the malfunction recurs after the above items are confirmed normal, replace the H/UNIT or SVM. - Inspection of Faulty PAS Warning Display and Parking Guidance
Symptom Probable Cause Remedy 1. Faulty PAS Warning Display and Incorrect Parking Guidance AVN option information not configured 1) Check and change the AVN option configuration status. Loose main connector 1) Check the connection status and reconnect the connector. Faulty IPM (SJB) 1) Make sure the Parking Assist System (PAS) and Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) are normal.
2) Inspect the IPM (SJB).Faulty H/UNIT or SVM 1) If the malfunction recurs after the above items are confirmed normal, replace the H/UNIT or SVM.
