Welcome Light

Courtesy Lamp (if equipped) and Door Handle Lamp (if equipped)

When all doors (and the liftgate) are opened, closed and locked, the courtesy lamp and door handle lamp will illuminate for approximately 15 seconds if any of the following conditions is met.

• When the door unlock button is pressed on the remote control or smart key.
• When the button on the outside door handle is pressed with the smart key present.
• If Convenience → Welcome Light → Approach Driver is selected in the cluster LCD custom settings mode, the lamps will turn on when the vehicle is approached with the Smart Key in possession.

Headlamp and Parking Lamp

When the headlamp switch is in the ON headlamp or AUTO position and all doors (and the liftgate) are locked and closed, the parking lamps and headlamps will illuminate for 15 seconds when the unlock button on the remote or Smart Key is pressed.

During this time, if you press the door lock or unlock button, the parking lamps and headlamps will turn off immediately.

Courtesy Lamp

When the interior light switch is in the DOOR position and all doors (and the tailgate) are closed and locked, the room lamp will turn on for 30 seconds if any of the following actions is performed.

• When the door unlock button is pressed on the remote control or smart key.
• When the button on the outside door handle is pressed with the smart key present.

During this time, if you press the door lock or unlock button on the smart key, the room lamp will turn off immediately.
