Folding Rear Seat
You can fold the rear seatbacks to transport bulky items or to increase cargo space.
WARNING
- Never allow passengers to sit on folded seats while the vehicle is moving. This position is not suitable and does not allow the use of seat belts.
In an accident or sudden braking, failure to follow this instruction may result in serious injury or death. - Items placed on folded seatbacks must not extend above the front seatbacks. They could slide forward and cause injury or damage in sudden braking.

To fold the rear seatback:
1. Lift the front seat and slide it forward if necessary.
2. Lower the rear head restraints fully.

3. Insert the rear seat belt buckle into the pocket between the seatback and seat cushion, and route the belt into the guide so that the belt is not damaged.

4. Lift the front of the seatback folding lever and fold the seatback forward toward the front of the vehicle. When returning the seatback to the upright position, always check that it is securely latched by pressing on its upper part.

5. To use the rear seat, lift and push the seatback rearward by pulling the front of the folding lever. Press the seatback firmly into place (you should hear a click). Make sure the seatback remains in place.
WARNING
When restoring the rear seat, be sure to hold the seatback and return it carefully. Make sure the seatback is locked in the upright position by pressing on its upper part.
In an accident or sudden braking, if the seatback is not properly locked, cargo may move through the cabin and cause serious or fatal injury.
WARNING
Do not place items on the rear seats unless they are properly secured. In a collision, they may strike passengers and cause death or serious injury.
WARNING
Make sure the engine is off, the shift lever is in P, and the parking brake is applied when loading or unloading equipment. If this procedure is not followed and the shift lever is accidentally moved to another position, the vehicle may move.
