DEPOSIT

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the tailgate pillar trim. (Refer to Body - "Rear Pillar Trim")
  3. Disconnect the PTG contact connector (A).
  4. Using a screwdriver, carefully lift the clips (A).
  5. Remove the PTG pin (B).
  6. If necessary, remove the nuts and replace the PTG pin bracket (A).

REMEDY

  1. Install the PTG pin holder.

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

  2. Install the PTG pin.
  3. Connect the PTG contact connector.
  4. Install the tailgate pillar trim.
  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
