Components and Component Location

1. Front Seat Assembly

Open the cover and loosen the front seat mounting bolts (Front).
Tightening torque: 34.2 ~ 54 N·m

(Rear)
Tightening torque: 34.2 ~ 54 N·m

Disconnect the airbag connector (A), power seat and seat heater connector (B), front seat belt buckle switch connector (C), and seat belt reminder connector (D). [Driver]

To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
NOTESeat Mounting Bolt Installation Sequence
- Slide the seat to the rear end of the rails and tighten the front mounting bolts.
- Slide the seat to the front end of the rails and tighten the rear mounting bolts.
- Reinstall the seat to complete tightening of the front suspension bolts.
- Check the smoothness of seat operation.
- For non-automatic sliding seats, check that the seats lock in each designated mounting position.
※ Removal of Seat Belt Anchor
- When replacing the seat belt anchor tensioner, make sure to use the proper tools to remove the seat belt anchor connector (A). Tools to use: Tool A: hex-key screwdriver or 3 mm (0.12 in) diameter drill bit 56 mm (2.20 in) long or longer. Tool B: screwdriver or 3 mm (0.12 in) diameter drill.
1. Insert tool (A) vertically into hole (F). Then tilt it more than 10°, as shown in the illustration.
  NOTE
  - At a 10° angle, tool (A) pushes and rotates the internal part (C).
2. Insert and press tool (B) vertically into hole (E). The seat belt anchor connector (D) is then disconnected.
