Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge

~1min read

This gauge shows the engine coolant temperature when the ignition switch or Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position.

NOTICE

When the gauge needle is above the normal range (position 130 or H), this indicates overheating, which may damage the engine.

If the engine overheats, stop the vehicle. If the vehicle overheats, refer to "If the Engine Overheats" in Chapter 6.

WARNING

Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. The coolant is under pressure and may cause severe burns. Wait until the engine cools down before adding coolant to the reservoir.
