Feature Settings

Lane Safety

With the engine running, select "Driver Assistance > Lane Safety" in the Settings menu to set whether each function is used.

- If "Assist" is selected, Lane Keeping Assist will automatically assist the driver's steering when a lane departure is detected, to help prevent the vehicle from leaving its lane.
- If "Warning Only" is selected, Lane Keeping Assist will alert the driver with an audible warning when a lane departure is detected. The driver must steer the vehicle.
- If "Off" is selected, the Lane Keeping Assist system is turned off.indicator turns off on the cluster.

WARNING

• If "Warning Only" is selected, steering assistance is not provided.
• The Lane Keeping Assist system does not control the steering wheel when the vehicle is driving in the middle of the lane.
• The driver must always be aware of the surroundings and control the vehicle if "Off" is selected.

Turning Lane Keeping Assist On/Off (Using the Lane Driving Assist Button on the Steering Wheel)

With the engine running, press and hold the Lane Keeping Assist button on the steering wheel to turn on the Lane Keeping Assist system. The white indicator light will illuminate on the instrument cluster.the indicator light illuminates on the cluster.

Press and hold the button again to turn the function on.

If the engine is restarted, Lane Keeping Assist will retain the last setting.

Information

The Lane Driving Assist button is used for both the Lane Keeping Assist function and the Lane Following Assist function.

Note that a short press and release of the button will turn the Lane Following Assist function on or off, while pressing and holding the button will turn the Lane Keeping Assist function on or off.

Warning Volume

With the engine running, select "Driver Assistance > Warning Volume" from the Settings menu to change the warning volume to "High", "Medium" or "Low" for Lane Keeping Assist.

If you change the Warning Volume, the warning volume of other driver assistance systems may change.
