REPLACEMENT

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system.
  2. Replace the defective hose or pipe.
  3. Tighten the bolt or nut to the specified torque.
  4. Evacuate the air from the A/C system and charge the system.

    Specified amount: 550 ± 25 g (19.4 ± 0.88 oz)

  5. Check for refrigerant leaks. Use a gas leak detector to check for refrigerant leaks.
  6. Check the operation of the air conditioner.
