Cabin Air Filter

The air conditioning air filter, installed behind the glove box, removes dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle through the heating and air conditioning system. If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter, airflow from the vents may decrease, which may result in increased humidity on the windshield, even when the outside (fresh) air position is selected. In this case, we advise you to have the air conditioning filter in your vehicle replaced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Information

• Replace the filter according to the maintenance schedule. If driving under severe conditions (dusty roads or accidents, for example), the air conditioning filter must be inspected and replaced more often.
• If the airflow suddenly decreases, we recommend that you have your vehicle's system checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
