The power outlet is designed to power mobile phones or other devices designed for use with the vehicle's electrical system. These devices must not draw more than 120 W while the engine is running.
WARNING
Avoid electric shock. Do not insert fingers or any other foreign object (such as a pin) into the outlet. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Noted
To prevent damage to the power outlet:
- Use the outlet only with the engine running, and remove the accessory plug immediately after use. Prolonged use of the accessory outlet with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Use only 12 V electrical accessories with a power rating of less than 120 W.
- Set the air conditioner or heater to the lowest power level when using the outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when plugged into the vehicle outlet. They may cause excessive noise or malfunctions in other systems or electronic devices used in the vehicle.
- Insert the plug fully. If the contact is incorrect, the outlet may overheat or the internal temperature fuse may blow.
- Use only battery-powered electrical/electronic devices equipped with a reverse current protection system. Otherwise, current from the battery may flow through the vehicle's electrical system and cause a malfunction.
