4WD System Warning Light (if equipped)

This warning light illuminates in the following cases:

• When the ignition key or the engine START/STOP button is in the ON position.
  - Illuminates for approximately 3 seconds, then turns off.
• When 4WD LOCK mode is selected by pressing the 4WD LOCK button.
  - 4WD LOCK mode increases driving power on wet or snowy roads and/or when driving off-road.

4WD LOCK Mode

Do not use 4WD LOCK mode on dry paved or highway roads, as this may cause noise, vibration, and may even damage some 4WD system components.
