Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel (if equipped)

WARNING

Never adjust the steering wheel while driving. You may lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident, which may result in serious or even fatal injury.

After adjustment, the locking lever may not lock the steering wheel.

This is not a malfunction. It occurs when the two gears are engaged. In this case, adjust the steering wheel again, then lock it.

Push down the lock lever (1) on the steering column and adjust the angle (2) and position (3) of the steering wheel. Direct the steering wheel toward your chest and not toward your face. Make sure you can see the indicators and gauges on the instrument cluster.

After adjustment, pull the lock lever (1) up to lock the steering wheel. Push the steering wheel up and down to make sure the lock is secure. Always adjust the steering wheel position before driving.
