Installing a Child Seat Using the Lap Belt (Center Rear Seat)

To install a child seat on the center rear seat, do the following:

1. Place the child seat on the center rear seat.
2. Pull out the tongue of the lap belt.
3. Route the lap belt through the openings in the child seat in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Fasten the lap belt and, pulling the free end of the belt, adjust its length so that it holds the child seat securely. After installing the child seat, try to move it in different directions to make sure it is securely installed.
